Phase 3, the east side of Cedar Street, is scheduled to begin next week after the conclusion of Phase 2. When Phase 3 begins, Cedar Street will become a northbound only street again. Please follow the original detour from Phase 1.

This week, crews are continuing to place sidewalks on the west side of Cedar Street, place electrical conduit for street lighting, and preparing to pave the roads.
In addition, work on Phase 5 of the project, from Willoughby to Aurelius Roads, has begun.
Beginning Thursday, the right lanes of northbound and southbound Cedar Street will be closed for milling and repaving. There may be brief times during this roadwork when business driveways are not accessible. Construction crews will work as quickly as possible to ensure that temporary driveways are put in place, however, please use any available alternate entrances to these businesses, if possible.
Once milling and repaving are finished in the right lanes, the center three lanes will be closed for reconstruction. During this time, cars will be unable to make left-hand turns into business driveways.
