This week, crews are continuing to place sidewalks on the west side of Cedar Street, place electrical conduit for street lighting, and preparing to pave the roads.
In addition, work on Phase 5 of the project, from Willoughby to Aurelius Roads, has begun.
Beginning Thursday, the right lanes of northbound and southbound Cedar Street will be closed for milling and repaving. There may be brief times during this roadwork when business driveways are not accessible. Construction crews will work as quickly as possible to ensure that temporary driveways are put in place, however, please use any available alternate entrances to these businesses, if possible.
Once milling and repaving are finished in the right lanes, the center three lanes will be closed for reconstruction. During this time, cars will be unable to make left-hand turns into business driveways.

Beginning on March 26, construction crews will begin removing trees along Cedar Street in preparation for the Realize Cedar project. Due to weight restrictions on the roads, the downed trees will need to be cut up and left in place on the sides of the road. The trees will be removed once the weight restrictions are lifted.
